Use of Challenger Trimaran

Only competent sailors to use the challenger.
The Challenger is only to be launched when there is a safety boat on the water. Please make the crew aware of your intent to sail.
Please wear a full life jacket.
Do not attempt to launch when there is heavy surf or sea running.
Please keep to the area between Shanklin Rowing Club and the Lake revetment toilet block. Please do not venture further out to sea than the clubs white outer racing marks.
On race days/evenings please try not to obstruct the racing fleet, unless of course you are racing.
Thank you and enjoy your sailing, don’t forget to put the bungs in, also check the securing nut on the tiller pivot and rudder blade before you launch.
