RSS feeds
RSS, or Really Simple Syndication is a way of keeping check of the changing content of a web site without having to visit it directly.
At the top of your browser - if you have an up to date version - you may see an orange icon with a dot and two arcs. This is a link to the RSS feeds on this site.
The main RSS feed - http://www.shanklinsailingclub.com/rss.xml - has the first few sentences of news, reports and stories on this web site. It is updated as soon as changes are made to the web site. You can subscribe to the feed in a number of ways, you can add it to email programs so you are effectively emailed every time there is an update to the site. You can also add the feed to iGoogle - http://www.google.com/ig or to Google Reader - http://www.google.com/reader/.
Racing results will automatically shown on the feed at http://www.shanklinsailingclub.com/race-results.xml .
