Nows the Time

It was nice to see a few down doing bits to their boats today prior to the start of the season.

Don't forget to check.

Rudders (they seize up without use)
Traveller (again it stop working without use)
Toe Straps, check they are tight and the cord is OK.
Down Haul make sure it is working properly.
Jammers, Main Sheet, Traveler, Jib, Downhaul and the Furling Jammer. Make sure they are working.
Furling Drum, give it a check over.
Wires, Shackles, Clevis pins and Split Pins. make sure they are tight in place and in good order. Might be an idea to drop the mast and check everything at the hound. Whilst the mast is down check the Sheave Blocks top and bottom.
Sails, give them a check over, if you find any problems, it gives you time to get repairs done before the first race.
Trampoline give it a check for any tears, and get it repaired if necessary.
