Well, the season is finally underway - and congratulations to Brandon for winning the first race....all the more impressive as he unnecessarily went back to the start (thinking he was OCS) having already made it to B in what was, at the time, barely any wind and definitely against the run of the tide! Eleven boats out for the first day back - looking forward to seeing many more back out on the water in the coming weeks.

Many thanks to Keith for keeping us in order from the Racing Box, Les for manning the patrol boat and Kevin for keeping us on our toes in the boat park. All social-distancing well-observed and our organised approach bodes well for future racing.

As usual it looks like Chris has his work cut out with plenty of repairs in the boat-yard, and it was great to see Harry back out on the water this afternoon enjoying his newly-repaired Dart on a sunny, flat F3 Sandown Bay.

Please keep an eye out for the Duties Rota that will be going up in the next day or two. :D

Fair winds meantime :P
