When the results are put on the net could an email be sent out at the same time.
Only a few people look at the web site unless prompted and even fiewer check the chat page.

They could subscribe to the RSS feed at http://www.shanklinsailingclub.com/race-results.xml using their email program. They will then get effectively an email as soon as they are put on.

This is the big problem Liam most don't know what an RSS feed is. I will send an email out explaining what to do. What is the link for news?

I would like to know what a "fiewer" is, is it semohtnig taht we all need to konw auobt?
