Shanklin Sailing Club

The first fun day will be in a couple of weeks on the 5th June and will basically be all afternoon.

The theme of this one is a “try out day”, Have a go at:

Sailing a Pico
Sailing a Sprint 15 Catamaran
Having a joyride on Pico/Sprint 15
Try Trapezing
Have a go at crewing a Sprint 15 & sign up for a race.
1 on 1 beginner lesson in a Pico with an RYA trained instructor.
Capsize Practice
Zapcat Joyride

The club boats arrive at the end of June, if you would like to use these from time to time you can be assessed and signed up as competent on this day so you are ready to go as soon as they arrive.

No need to book just turn up. If you know now that you would either like to try something or are happy to help with joyrides etc letting me know in advance would be great.

Do you need any help from normal plebeians or do you have to be able to sail properly? If the former, I am most willing to help.

I am sure that Simon would love the help, you never know they may learn something from a pro!
