Help needed

There has been a serious land slide at the club house so we need some help Sunday morning to shift it. Please bring down wheelbarrows and shovels.

No sailing, I am afraid. This is too important.

Dont have a shovel or a wheelbarrow I'm afraid but will be down tomorrow to lend a hand. What time are you starting?
Were all the boats ok in the small yard?
See you tomorrow

We shall be there at 9am.

Very muddy, earth needs to be taken onto the beach, high tides later, may need wellies.

Very many thanks to those that turned up and helped today.

We have emptied the sail room and the start box in case there is a further landslide with the rain that is forecast next week. We have also moved a good proportion of the mud that has fallen.

However there is much more to be done, in particular moving mud from the lawn and the small boat yard.

We have taken down the weather station and the web cam for now. They will go back up if the building looks like it is going to be spared.

Again, very many thanks to those of you that turned up to work and to Piggy Pierce who turned up.

Most of the earth has been moved from the lawn and the trees are now in my front garden.

We still have plenty to clear up.

Unfortunately one boat had to be humanely destroyed.

I put the weather station back on again.

If it stops working, it probably means the club house is on the beach.

The elders have made good progress on clearing the mud slide but there still is plenty to do. It would be great to see some people under 65 at the club next weekend.

Thanks guys. Really good effort today clearing more mud and trees.

Paul and Bob deserve special commendation for not dying.

Please work much harder next week when I won't be there.
