Shanklin Sailing Club

Following the Extreme Series moving to foiling GC32 catamarans, I have put in an offer for the old fleet of 12 Extreme 40s and have bought the lot. I have arranged to take over the car park by the old pier to store the boats.

From this Sunday onwards all Sunday races, apart from the Odds and Ends Series and the Ventnor Races will be for the Extreme 40s only.

The boat takes a crew of 5 so please organise yourselves into groups and let me know as soon as possible when you are wanting to borrow the boats.

All Tuesday and Thursday races will continue to be on Sprint 15s.

I hope that you bought the trailers, because there going to be buggers to shift up and down the beach.

We just use four of them with one cup in the middle.

We'll need to let this tornado pass through Shanklin before we set sail in one of those - although I'm sure it could be a single handed sail up to F5
