Please can all competitors note that the lights and horn are only there to draw attention to the flags which are, in our case, painted boards.

If you are confused by the lights or sounds then take a look at the flags below the window.

The F flag (red diamond on white) will be shown at 5 minutes to the start.
The P flag (white square / rectangle on blue) will be shown at 4 minutes.
The P flag is removed at 1 minute.
The F flag is removed at the start.

5,4,1,0 minutes - 1 flag, 2 flags, 1 flag, no flags.

If the course is shortened there will be an S flag shown which is a blue square / rectangle on white.
