Calling all Shanklin Sailors and Supporters!

The laying up supper and award of our trophies is two weeks away and so far we have only 5 people confirmed.

Please can you reply below this week if you are intending to join us. For those who have not been to the Bourne Hall hotel it is a really great venue with spectacular views across the whole of Sandown Bay. The bar area has lots of comfortable plush sofas and the dining area has a lovely atmosphere. There is a choice of either a two or a three-course menu and children's menu.

And who can resist the chance to win the silver tray at the raffle???

Please support our club and members by joining us for the biggest event in our calendar year.

A great response for tickets and a grand evening beckons. Please can I ask everyone to please email me with their menu requests (ycpike@live.com). The hotel needs this by the end of the month so please can you get to me by Thursday this week (31st).

And don't forget to forward funds to the SSC bank account (or pay myself or Tony cash/cheque)

Fantastic response.
But there is still more room, try to come along, even if it is just to see me make some sort of speech.
That has to be worth it for the entertainment value.

Many thanks to everyone who supported the club at the Laying Up Supper this year. I think I can safely say that the new venue worked really well and hope everyone had a great evening. Thanks also to everyone for joining in with the raffle - £114 to club funds - and Stuart has again won the most coveted of prizes
