Bouys and Training

Postby Yvonne-Pike » February 25th, 2020, 11:14 pm

With the start of the season fast approaching, we are keeping an eye out for a decent weather window that will allow us to safely get the buoys back onto the water, with a day or two of calmness afterwards for them to bed in...that is not looking likely over the next several days.

We are hoping to get out on the water on Sunday for training. If the forecast is inclement the sermon in the clubhouse will be given by Able Seaman Thom.

Look forward to seeing you all soon :D

As reported to the Committee, the trolley needs a wheel for the Arc.

I don't see that we are going to learn anything in a force 6 on Sunday.

Can we arrive at 9.30am and load the rubbish in the small boat yard into the skip that is now there.

Then if anybody wants to cure their insomnia I will say a few words on how to make a boat go less slowly.
