The Club Burgee

Postby 195E » October 31st, 2010, 11:01 pm

Don't know if anyone thinks this is a bit weak. Blue cross on a white background with an upside down hang glider in the top corner. What about changing it a bit or is this heresy?

I said something like that thinking it was made in the thirties by someone dead. Unfortunately the person sat next to me made it.

Apparently the burgee originally goes back to when Noah was a lad.

So..
You can be as rude as you like about it without upsetting anyone
You probably can't change it

At least we haven't got the same logo as the Nationalsozialistische Deutsche Arbeiterpartei.

`Oh this fine Sailing Club` it may be and all hail to that.

I am in favour of a competition to decide on our new burgee (if we are allowed to have one that is)

It must of course be judged by the committee and our decision is final.

`Oh this fine Sailing Club` it may well be and all hail to that

I agree with the idea of a competition to decide upon a new style burgee, (that is if we are allowed to have a new one)

anyway the committee should choose the winner and their decision would be final
