Yes, I think that's the simplest way to go. Ideally we would have a small A-frame with an open pulley but they are not cheap and that would add weight.

If I am in Ventnor in the near future will see if Geoff Blake has a spare hauler wheel.
Might contact Sean as he fits the hauler drum to his boats, see what he can come up with an idea.
