Boxing Day Swim.

Postby Mary Mary » December 19th, 2013, 9:17 am

To be held at Small Hope Beach, Shanklin, will start 12 noon prompt.
Last year saw many people going along to watch, and cheer the hardy souls running into the sea !

Do we have any Club Members taking part this year ?

I hope to go sailing in the morning as the wind looks like it will drop just for the sail.

I think we should limit sailing numbers to 30, or otherwise we might interfere with the Ventnor swim.

The forecast is currently good for a Boxing Day sail, F4-5 West vearing North-West. We need to leave at 9.30 to get a favourable tide to Ventnor and back and so as not to interfere with the Ventnor swim at 12 noon.
